15th Annual International Association of Gay/Lesbian Country Western Dance Clubs Convention (Dance Hoedown) (This is a past event.)

This year's convention/competition/hoedown will be the largest ever in the organizations history. Billed with a pirate theme that fits the Tampa Bay area, the "YO HO HOEDOWN". Come on out and two-step, waltz, line dance or just simply to party with all the cowboys and bears you can shake a stick at. Guaranteed you will have a blast. Space is going to be limited, so make sure you reserve your spots early. But make sure you come!!

The weather was good, the cowboys were hot, the music was bouncing, the dancers were… dancing. Some issues like not enough publicity nationwide and too much line dancing (for my taste) from the DJ, but a good event nonetheless.

I've always had fun at these. Plenty of dancing and the competitions are fund to watch. It grows bigger each year. You can meet cowboys who love to dance from all over the country.
