Brokeback Campout (Fundraiser) (This is a past event.) Owned by: Michigan International Gay Rodeo Association website: michiganrodeo.org starts: 17 July 2009 until 19 July 2009 time: All Day Join The Michigan International Gay Rodeo Association at their annual summer campout July 17-19, 2009. Events planned so far: Horseback riding, horse shoe tourney,hay rides,barn dance, Bon fires are just some of the many events planned for this year. Oh Did I mention we’ll be teaching ya how to properly put underwear on a goat? you’ll have to see it for yourself. The cost to attend is $35 (per couple) which includes weekend camping,a BBQ dinner,Day and night time activities.$25 (single) which includes everything for the weekend. The cost just for the day is $15 which includes all the activities plus a BBQ dinner. Become a member of MIGRA and recieve $5.00 off your regularly priced ticket. except for the cool weather the weekend was great! Horseback riding, hayride, the bonfire, hospitality, and good friends/friendly people made the weekend all it should be. It was a great, laid back relaxing weekend. I got to meet great people and found that several of us all grew up in the same area!! Who knew. This was the first year i attended and am definitly going again in the future. The property owners hospitality was exceptional! Oh, and the BBQ was excellent too! So much good food, I was stuffed. Too bad the cakes and pudding all went so fast. I only got a bite i took from someone elses plate.. Thanks to MIGRA for a great weekend.
