Emerald City Hoedown (Dance Hoedown) (This is a past event.) website: www.raincountrydance.org/ hoedown starts: 25 April 2008 until 27 April 2008 time: All Day Emerald City Hoedown is the first hoedown weekend from the Rain Country Dance Association. Taking place at several locations on Capitol Hill in Seattle, we will have evening dances, morning and afternoon workshops, social events, and more. 20 hours of workshops and dancing, with both local instructors and guests from out of town like Crystal from Portland and Steve Rockwell from San Francisco! I'm biased, though, since I was on the organizing committee. But we did exceed our projected registrations, we had a great time, and we turned a small profit. And we'll do the hoedown again next year. So yeah, great weekend!.
