Pretty awful compared to what it used to be. They don't even play country music anymore... except on Sat nights... the gay country scene is dead in Austin. So sad.

It's dying. Owner's have pissed off the gay community includeing the softball, rugby, and various other social clubs. The DJ will not play any of your requests and insults the clientele.

When I lived in Austin I liked it, even though the women took up half the place. Now when I visit the women have encroached almost to the pool tables in the last 6 years. Where do they come from? Its got a great set up and usually like the music. It's just when I go to a gay bar I wanna see guys, dang it!

It's a popular spot for ordinary guys. They are active in supporting the local gay community as well as good causes. Club soda is $1.00 if you're a sober type.

this actually is a pretty okay place. the staff is friendly and they do play some good music. location is what kills thet success. proximity to other gay bars just isn't there...and you know gays don't like to walk around downtown after spending 2hrs to get ready.

The dance floor is excellent, but unfortunately the DJs are mediocre at best. Worse, the drinks are obscenely overpriced, and the openly hostile lesbians are completely out of control.

Used to be more fun, but- to be truly frank- it is now almost a woman's bar, and that is not what i want in a cowboy bar.

The women have taken over this bar. Not a place to go if you want to hang ouot with men.
