I grew up on a ranch, saw other cowboys, we branded from time to time but never really worked the cattle that much, it was in later years with an ex-father in law who taught me more about ranching than my own dad did. The ranch was a hobby for my dad as I also grew up in the oil and gas industry. I drove tractors, baled hay and were close to the men.
