I think it is important to hold out for a man that not only moves your world but creates a world for; a man who can match or better1s sense of creating a life of partnership. A man who is his own person and who is educated (not necessarily from academic institutions), motivated (but heck also can be comfortable just laying around), optimistic, an equal (it is the whole walks beside me, not ahead or behind ) though at some time1 may be more of a leader or organizer), smells good when wearing nothing (though cologne can be nice - lol), who laughs well and often, who knows the pull of the moon and the power of the slightest touch, who dances to the slowest of songs really, really well . He should be polite, say please/thank-you/excuse-me/bless-you. He is into family, friendships, high/rough surf, Christmas mornings, fireplaces, Country music, holding hands while driving, keeps his eyes open while kissing , bathtubs not quite big enough for2, laying on a blanket or in the back of a pick-up watching the stars, holding on tight in a hug - never being the first to let go, the sound of rain on a tin roof... Inside the man should exist hope, faith and courage with the ability to be honest.
A partner should not run from conflict and understands what it means to say, fuck you with love.
