I am the 6th generation of a texas cattle ranching family. I co-own and help run the family ranches and cow/calf operation. I grew up between our panhandle and south texas operations and have been in the panhandle the last several years. So, I am heavily involved in the show cattle industry, from Mkt. Steers to Jr. Heifers, to the open show cattle road. I help several 4-H and FFA kids and their families with mkt. steer and jr. heifer projects. Enjoy working with kids and being able to see how the cattle we are putting on the ground at the ranch are preforming in a different aspect of the cattle industry.
I am not a drug store cowboy, don't need boots,jeans a hat and big shiny buckle to stroke my ego, I can rope and ride just as well in sneekers and levis or shorts and flip flops as I can in boots and jeans. I think it is what is inside of a person that makes then who they are, not what they wear. Though my daily apperal generally consists of boots and jeans you can rest assured no matter what I am wearing, I can rope, ride, tie down, casturate, brand, dehorn, tattoo, tag, vaccinate, A.I., halter break, clip and fit with the best of them.
Like honest people, who shoot straight from the hip and people who like being themselves. I have never forgotten where I came from. Would just like to meet some honest guys, to maybe tip a few beers back by the campfire with.
I am not into the gay scene, nothing against it, just have never really felt like I fit in there. Have never been to a gay rodeo or anything of that nature, but am planning on trying to attend some events this year just to see what they are all about. Looking forward to hearing from ya'll.
