Looking to meet a honest, sincere guy who can engage in intelligent conversation or who feels comfortable exhibiting spontaneous affection. Someone who is secure in their life’s direction, but willing to explore new experiences, and willing to share their thoughts and passions with a person who would show appreciation in return. Someone 42-47yrs old/similar hgt/wgt., who appreciates a person of integrity, and is willing to work together to form a relationship. You should be easy going, clean cut, DDF, humorous, well grounded, and have some core values.
I’m mature, masculine, E/F secure, professionally employed, twisted sense of humour, easy-going, straight-forward/no games type individual (poignantly blunt at times, but always sincere). My biggest flaws: I don’t play political/mind games and sometimes my humour’s not always PC, but my friends still say my1-liners are profound classics. I have a well developed sense of personal values. I’ve spent a lot of time discovering what is important to me, and I try to live according to those virtues; honesty, integrity and respect. If you are not accustom to telling the truth, or hearing the truth, then we probably are not compatible.
I’m not into the bar scene, but do enjoy country music/dancing at The Round-Up. I’m shy until I get to know you, then watch out. I enjoy conversation, dining, theatre, classic cars, antiques, history/art museums. and at times indulge in the finer things of life, but am in no way pretentious; just the average guy next door type. (jeans/t-shirt). I have true Mid-western values, with a bit of Southern habits/traditions thrown in. If it’s time to meet a person serious about developing a quality relationship,1 who exhibits a compassionate interest and returns a phone call, or just calls to say I’m thinking of you, then I would like to hear from you. Communication is the key to any successful endeavor, and even more so with a relationship.

i grew up on a farm S.E. of Barrhead Alberta in the time when all you had was an outhouse, water you brought in with a pail from the well, kerosene lanterns and a wood stove to cook on. it was a good life. we had cow’s that we raised for meat. grew a garden that would keep us till the next1 was ready. we moved to Edmonton when the farm sold. moved to an acreage near Sangudo Alberta in 1990. from there i moved here to Saskatchewan in 2005. i live in a small rural town and love the rural life. i go to a place called OUTlawS in Saskatoon that’s a country and western bar. i love being around cowboy’s and meeting guy’s who know what i am talking about. i do travell to Edmonton several times a year as i have familly living there.

hum, what i am looking for, well i cant get really specific because every situation is different, basically i just want a good guy, someone who will be honest with me, accept me for who i am and who i wanna be.i dont want a man who expects me to change for them, nor do i want a man who is willing to change his lifestyles for me, if you are ever going to love someeone you are going to love their flaws too. i want a guy who is happy and content just laying around the house watching movies on friday and saturday night, because i am not much of a bar scene guy, maybe once or twice a year is enough for me. i want someone who is open to the possibility of a family someday.and the biggest thing i look for is someone who is my friend first and foremost, my best friend, someone who will be my equal in life as well as love.well if any of this sounds like you, please drop me a line, or if you are to shy to do that, atleast send me a wink, and i will email you back, thanks :) god bless

It is not by chance, fate, fortune or misfortune that we meet the people and have the experiences that we do or don’t. ..........
If you never ask the question the answer will always be NO...........
No1 falls in love by choice, it is by chance
No1 stays in love by chance, it is by work
No on falls out of love by chance, it is by choice.............
I always wanted a happy ending ... Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems
don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is
about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it
without knowing what’s going to happen next....................
Be who you are and say what what you feel because those who matter mind … don’t matter … and those who matter don’t mind.” Dr. Suess ..........I am:
At best an OPTIMISTIC person (I always try and find the best in any person and situation) . I am hopeful and appreciative.
INQUISITIVE (I like to learn, challenge myself to grow and become a better person every day ,some days I do better than others) Challenge my mind not my patience LOL
HEAD STRONG ( Like Popeye I am what I am LOL . I try to have an informed opinion, meaning I have to be able to argue both sides of any argument )
COMMUNICATIVE ( I failed at mind reading, so I expect that if someone is wanting me to know something that they will tell me, as I will do to them )
Likes: People with passion, heart, strength of character, sense of humor, optimism, focus, kindness. I have an attraction for fur (facial/chest) on men -though not a necessity. A great kisser and cuddler , a man who holds hands while driving and with a look from across the room you know that you, rock his world?.
Beliefs: I follow the power of positive thinking or the law of attraction. Esther and Jerry Hicks, abrahamhicks[----] are2 people that I believe embody this way of experiencing and living.
I do not follow a formal institutionalized religion but take from the world that which best helps me to move to a place of inner peace and become a better person to others.
I strive for forward momentum in my life (welcome new challenges and respect and consider different opinions/perspectives) and I am learning to pause, breathe and take life in before it passes me by.
Favorite Authors: Abraham-Hicks, Robert Fulghum, Michael Losier, William Glassier, don Miguel Ruiz, and anything else that makes me smile/laugh.
TV shows: A big Star Trek the Next Generation fan, Corner Gas, Twilight Zone
Music : a fan of country and folk music mostly.
It has been an interesting journey - As I have believed - you attract into your life that which you are resonating. Nothing really ever happens by chance but more so by OPPORTUNITY to teach us that which is in our best interest to learn. I have a variety of interests; the most important being my interest in others and helping to create the conditions upon which people can be successful (I am open to increasing my interests as the opportunity presents). I believe that building a life with someone is not a 50/50 input ratio but more of a 100/100. I take care of myself both physically and emotionally as best I can, acknowledging that there is always room for continued growth and development. I strive for forward momentum in my life (welcome new challenges and respect and consider different opinions/perspectives) and I am learning to pause, breathe and take life in before it passes me by. I am a man with faults (or areas for future development as I call them), but am also working to become the better man that I want to be for myself and those around me. I am a man who is fairly educated and have been told (and I believe it) quite opinionated, although I like to think of it as strong willed. I believe that it is important to be able to see both sides of any issue (or as many sides as their might be) and to be able to argue for both sides - doing such ensures a greater likelihood of being informed and opens1 up for the opportunity for greater growth and development. The motto, Seek first to understand and then to be understood, is1 I try to (not always successfully) live by.
Here is a list of some of the things that I like : holding hands with a special man (The spaces between your fingers were created so that another’s could fill them in.), holding (spooning) all night long, looking across the room and knowing that the man across the room is mine (with or with out the handcuffs - LOL - just joking), kissing with my eyes open so that I can see deep into the depth of his soul, making love with the lights on (I am not great at brail so sometimes have to see where I am going - LOL), kissing my partner in a way that I can take in his breath and share with him mine, spending the mornings in bed with my partner connecting, having date night at least once a week with my man DANCE LIKE NOBODYS WATCHING, SING LIKE NOBODY?S LISTENING, LOVE LIKE YOURE NEVER GOING TO BE HURT/LIKE ITS NEVER GOING TO HURT AND LIVE LIKE THIS IS HEAVEN ON EARTH is a statement that encapsulates what I continue to strive for - hmmm - tough I could use some practice in2-stepping, keeping on key and well having a man to love - grrrr (so am open to offers of help in any of the areas)
I think it is important to hold out for a man that not only moves your world but creates a world for; a man who can match or better1s sense of creating a life of partnership. A man who is his own person and who is educated (not necessarily from academic institutions), motivated (but heck also can be comfortable just laying around), optimistic, an equal (it is the whole walks beside me, not ahead or behind ) though at some time1 may be more of a leader or organizer), smells good when wearing nothing (though cologne can be nice - lol), who laughs well and often, who knows the pull of the moon and the power of the slightest touch, who dances to the slowest of songs really, really well . A man should stand up for what is moral and right, respects himself and others (always), would give up his seat on a bus to someone in need and would help those less fortunate than himself. He should be polite, say please/thank-you/excuse-me/bless-you. He is into family, friendships, high/rough surf, Christmas mornings, fireplaces, Country music, holding hands while driving, keeps his eyes open while kissing , bathtubs not quite big enough for2, laying on a blanket or in the back of a pick-up watching the stars, holding on tight in a hug - never being the first to let go, the sound of rain on a tin roof... Inside the man should exist hope, faith and courage with the ability to be honest.
A partner should not run from conflict and understands what it means to say, fuck you with love. Physical attraction is important - can’t deny chemistry, and we all have a physical type that gets us going. It is the heart of the man that is important. A man to who will not follow or lead, but1 that will walk aside - sometimes gently pulling or pushing.
RELATIONSHIPS--of all kinds--are like sand held on your hand. Held loosely, with an open hand, the sand remains where it is. The minute you close your hand and squeeze tightly to hold on, the sand trickles through your fingers. You may hold on to some of it but most will be spilled. A relationship is like that. Held loosely, with respect and freedom for the other person, it is likely to remain intact. But hold too tightly, too possessively and the relationship slips away and is lost. I’m looking for a partner who has already spent time experiencing life on his own and feel’s he has sowed his oats. And finally (probably by now you are thinking -well it’s about time!, someone who is fairly independent and can be left alone in a room without getting into trouble or feeling outnumbered.
If you have chosen to read this far I thank you. If want to know more feel free to ask - doesn’t cost you anything . If you might be looking for a great guy for a friend then stop in - you may be surprised at what you find.

Lets see, I am a true cowboy, or I should say a cowman... There’s no time a day you will find me without a 24 ounce beer in my hand. And I don’t get along with any fruity immigrants including native indians. I’m looking for my John Wayne reel tall in the saddle in tight leather boots with reall spurs that jingle. I like bourbon straight with no rocks and starring at people across the bar. I like people who know how to occupy such a big land as Texas and grow into it proper. I eat big bones for breakfast, if you consider yourself big boned, GET OFF MY lawN! I need a man who knows he is disgustingly fat. I am a really sweet man inside, like a deep fried apple. I hate music unless its Garth Brooks and blasting out of a truck window pulled up to1 of the truck stops I frequent on my late night walks. I don’t care much for movies unless they’re porn. I have something wrong with my stomach now, I been pissing out my ass all week. But I’m sure its temporary so don’t let that stop you. And I love bold eagles, I’m trying to breed them. As every true Amererican should.
Hey if you are a lady, I need to spread my seed some, so if you wand good American D and A, I am yours man. I am proud and tall and big as a god damn mountain with an eagle for each shoulder, hell1 for my great big cowboy hat too!. Mother nature bows to me when I ride out... I like wolves too. Anyway, I need a real man who can handle a force of nature like myself, and with whome to ride of into the endless eversetting sunset with.

Like my username says, I love nature and the outdoors despite the fact I live in the city.
I've always been attracted to the humbleness and down to earth attitude of the cowboy and can relate to that. I think the following best sums up what I feel in my heart:
The Cowboy Patriot
The Cowboy must never shoot first, hit a smaller man, or take unfair advantage. He must never go back on his word, or a trust confided in him. He must always tell the truth. He must be gentle with children, the elderly, and animals. He must not advocate or possess racially or religiously intolerant ideas. He must help people in distress. He must be a good worker. He must keep himself clean in thought, speech, action, and personal habits. He must respect women, parents, and his nations laws. The Cowboy is a patriot. ---Gene Autry

I’m an active-duty lawenforcement officer with a masculine, protecting nature and a heart of gold. Off-duty, I’m a pickup-driving, jeans-wearing man’s man who’s passionate about country music, hiking in the woods, and traveling off the beaten path. I’m low-maintenance but high-energy, and I’m always discreet. Due to shared interests and personality types, I’m interested primarily in meeting other guys who are in the military or lawenforcement. But even if you’re not police or military, feel free to drop me a line if you share the values of honesty, bravery, and hard work and are looking for a good buddy who could be even more than a buddy.

I grew up on a ranch, saw other cowboys, we branded from time to time but never really worked the cattle that much, it was in later years with an ex-father in law who taught me more about ranching than my own dad did. The ranch was a hobby for my dad as I also grew up in the oil and gas industry. I drove tractors, baled hay and were close to the men. We kept horses and rode around the ranch/trails and worked cattle with them. I am looking for other gay cowboys that I can have enjoyable times with and go to campouts/barbecues and if they like to go to bars for pool, and do discrete things as well that would be good.

Cowboys are sexual. The are rugged. They are rough. They represent men who live by the rugged and rough laws of the outdoord. They are not all romance. They have to deal with tougher and more painful circumstances than I could ever imagine. They can introduce me to ways of living I would usually be more "civilized" to understand. I want a cowboy to broaden my horizons.
