I’m a city guy - I’ve never ridden a horse in my life. I’ve got the character traits I’d associate with a cowboy - honest, loyal, and taking pride in putting in a hard day’s work. I think jeans and boots on a guy are hot!!! I’m not looking for anything beyond friendship - I’ve already got a wonderful man in my life - but good friends are never in short supply.

Grew up in the county & the city and equally comfortable in a sushi bar or a a tractor. Although I do drive a pickup, I did not post a picture with a cowboy hat but since I do not wear1 on a daily basis (although I do have1), that might be deceiving. We’ve always heard that cowboy’s aint easy to love and their harder to hold. However I am up for the challenge. There is definitely something about a man in hat with a horse that melts my butter. At the same time, all hat and no cattle definite doesn’t do in or outside the saddle. Typically, we want a guy who respects our independence but also wants to take care of us. We want a guy whose secure but also get’s jealous. We want a guy who truly listens to us but also kind of wants us to shut up, yet… I want to date someone whom would be an incredible friend as well since I think it is inherently important to actually end up in a relationship with someone whom I would consider my closest friend. I use to have this list of all of the characteristics I desired in a man. It’s funny how lists work, sometimes you find those traits in yourself. I guess you could say I am not looking for anyone to save me, I am not looking for anyone to complete me, I have done that for myself. I would like to find some good friends and if I come across a guy that becomes my best friend, confidant, and whose life is richer with me in it (and vice versa) then I would be open to that. I have a great family and they are incredibly important to me at the same time I would love to be incredibly close as possible to my husband’s family as well yet respecting all boundaries. I have experienced great love and believe I have a great system of recognizing quality when it crosses my path. Saying that, I am not looking for perfection yet what I might see as perfection the next guy might not see. I am interested in a relationship with a guy whose passionate about life, passionate about me, and has a lot of love in his heart for his life, his career and his family. Personally I10d to be a little passive at the dating game and not great and the area of flirting unless someone really melts my butter. I think of myself as pretty masculine yet I can always be compared to someone more masculine than I. I enjoy getting outdoors, riding 4wheelers, going to the ranch as well as cuddling on the couch and being with friends. I am not looking to pigeon-hole someone and am not looking to be pigeon-holed myself and I don’t want someone who gives up easily. I do not want to settle and do not want someone to feel they have settled on choosing me. The dating world is1 that seems a little crazy because sometimes perfection can be standing right in front of you and you are still staring at the proverbial door for perfection to walk through. In those cases, people10d to be terminally single (yikes). I guess I am wanting a lot but it seems very little in my mind. To click with someone and enjoy their company is a place to start. Till then... if you’re the1 I’m looking for, don’t give up on me, I will get there someday with my suitcase full of dreams I just might need you to do 1/2 the work. I guess it would be too much to ask to show up at my door with a kiss saying Yo estoy aquí mi amor is too much to ask (but I can dream).

Recently single and NOT looking to get serious anytime soon. As far as that goes I’m not even looking to hookup. Not a prude, but have a full plate right now and don’t need a lot of drama or BS to complicate matters. I’ve got a couple of qtr horse geldings. Nothing expensive or fancy but I really enjoy them when I have the time. I don’t compete on them. Like myself, they are too damn fat! What I enjoy is trail riding and I go to the LBJ National Grasslands up by Decatur. A couple times a year I’ll pack up and camp there for the weekend. Oh yeah, I don’t have1 of those fancy horse trailers that cost more than my home either! If you think you’d be intested in striking up a friendship drop me a line. I like guys of all ages as friends. Any more questions feel free to ask. I didn’t mean for this to be so long and drawn out.
