I want a horse that flies - and no horse flies!
I want green valleys all year round (in my dreams), with gr [email] that`s sweet enough for ME to eat! I want to be intoxicated from the smell of hay and sweet clover and a freshly-showered (or not) cowboy. I want to make mad, passionate love on the mountain top (in the snow), and then in the meandering stream, and then in the rushing river, and then in the placid lake, and then in the verdant pasture, and finally in an awesome log cabin which has a view of all the previous places.
And, at night, I`d like to lie in the grass, next to my man, and stare at the stars and make wishes and hope and dream about the future, and kiss my man10derly all night long and feel his heart beat and know the thoughts of his heart simply from the connection of our lips. Too bad I live in town now, with busy streets and ever-expanding suburbs! Oh, well, it makes the fantasy more appealing.
Masculinity is, first and foremost, what I prefer in a man, though I would NEVER shun an effeminate man who truly wants to befriend me - they can be the kindest, most loyal and caring friends in the world, though the possibility of a relationship would be nil.
I love men who don`t have a hedonistic bone in their body - with the exception of the1 between their legs, of course! I like men who smile a lot, have a friendly manner about them, have integrity and patience, are slow to anger (unless they`re justifiably jealous - I LOVE that), are down-to-earth (in a literal sense if they work the soil), appreciate the joys of a simple life (why waste time and effort on attaining things which don`t bring any lasting happiness), wants to snuggle up to me in front of the television, laughs at my jokes, doesn`t make fun of my cooking or my up-and-down weight, is kind to animals (even stubborn mules), leaves me little love notes once in a while, pretends, convincingly, to like my music (which he probably won`t since it isn`t country!), and who has a host of other endearing qualities which only add to a satisfying relationship. Sound unreasonable/unattainable? I don`t think so!
My hair went south long ago and the bags under my eyes don`t respond to the put-Preparation H-under-them advice (silly boy); I don`t have6-pack abs anymore (never did, actually); and I`m brave enough to admit that I use1 of those over-the-counter color treatments to take the gray out of my beard (I chose the1 with the best-looking guy on the front `cause I thought it might help) - a beard I don simply because it takes some attention away from the shiny dome above.
I love bicycles, though it`s a hobby that I`ve put on the back burner due to time and weather issues.
I`m an intrepid rock-hound, though I`m not as knowledgeable about geology as I`d like to be. Climbing mountains and finding treasures (not of any monetary value, really) is a lot of fun, especially when doing it with someone else.
I`d like to book passage on a cruise ship to Alaska and I`d like to hike to Machu Picchu, in Peru, before I die. Wanna come along? If you come, though, we may never leave the solitude of our cabin - and for GOOD reason!
