Wanted to also thank the Assoc and their royalty for treating the SCCGRA (Sacramento's Capital Crossroads) and our Royalty as part of their family! Thanks for the hospitality! Looking forward to returning it to all that comes to Sacramento in July!

Wow what can I say. This Rodeo we had over 103 people compete and 63 horses. Great Rodeo Grounds, and a lot of people competed for there very first time. We even had a blind man compete in Roping on foot, and Goat Dressing. I have to say this Rodeo was one of the best Rodeo's I have been to in a long time. One of the things that made it the best was the Cowboys and Cowgirls and the fans they were so friendly and I made so many friends and some Great friends for life.

The BudLight Hot Rodeo 2008 announces the running order of events for Saturday and Sunday May 2-4, 2008.
The running order is as follows:
1- Running Order for Rodeo Events:

3- Shoot Dogging
4- Steer Deco
5- Team Roping
6- Breakaway Roping
7- b@r*b@ck Bronc
8- Pole Bending
Grand Entry (noonish)
9- Bull Riding
10- Goat Dressing
11- Barrel Racing
12- Flag Racing
13- Wild Drag Race
14- Steer Riding
Online registration will open shortly through the Rodeos website at www.PalmSpringsRodeo.org and using the IGRA online registration system.
The BudLight Hot Rodeo 2008 is the first rodeo held in the Coachella Valley since 2001. Get your room reservation at the Palm Court Inn by calling (800) 667-7918. Be sure to request the RODEO rate of $89/night.

Bud Light Hot Rodeo 2008
Palm Springs, CA
Contestant registration will be open from Friday March 28 to Friday April 18, 2008.
Go to www.PalmSpringsRodeo.org and follow the links. You can register online using the IGRA online registration system or via mail. All entries must be postmarked or electronically date/time stamped by Friday April 18 to avoid late fees.
If you are to become a new member you can register Friday May 2nd at the host hotel and still avoid late fees.
Many volunteer opportunities still remain. If you wish to become a volunteer at the Bud Light Hot Rodeo 2008 send an email to volunteers@PalmSpringsRodeo.org.
