Because of the rain and dust. It was a horrible rodeo and rodeo turn out. Secondly it would be much better if the rodeo associations would have their own hotel hall or facility to have country music dancing and drinking instead of going to a place like Charlies. It is no longer the kind of place rodeo fans want too attend. The management wants disco and go go boys instead of a real country atmosphere that it once was.

I had the best time ever...being a new contestant...everyone made me feel welcome...and was willing to help me out for whatever..what a bunch of nice people...made a couple of new friends..I plan on attending a few more...Thanks everyone...Hugs to all,Steve Karr

Had a great time at the rodeo. Placed 17th on Saturday and 3rd on Sunday. The crowds were great but didn't like the location of the host hotel at the Grace Inn. Maybe something different next year.

Great group of competitors and spectators, the organizers and staff were very welcoming, polite and gracious toward media contacts. The weather was outstandingly perfect. Although I am not a Rodeo official , it does seem that the event could have been organized a bit better to keep the flow going faster. I was a little disappointed to not see a buddy of mine sing because he was also competing.. and it seems they should give competitors who want to participate in performing some sort of priority. But all in all, I think the Road Runner Regional is outstanding, and brings out the very best of what it means to be a glbt country/cowboy/girl. I hope my photos captured 1/10th of that spirit.

Outstanding, weather was great, good selection of vendors, the bucking bull photo was the best with some fun photos. Good job AGRA

I've been to the Phx rodeo about 6 or 7 times...and it is one of the best organized events on the circuit. The crowds were great this year. However, if you're going to encourage large attendance...you have to have the facilities for everyone. The long long lines for food this year were matched by the longer lines at the restrooms. Couldn't get any water to wash hands with. Please have better facilities for the crowds next year.
Good signage helping direct traffic to the grounds. Quick ticketing, and friendly. Well run events. Hilton continues to be a great hotel for the host location. But please...do something about the food and restroom lines.

It was done extremely well. I am looking forward to attending the Palm Springs and LA rodeo to compare.
My only complaint is that there was only one food vendor which made getting something to eat a long processs.
