Had a super time at the 2009 Texas Tradition Rodeo in Sequin. Met alot of great people and make alot of friends. Had a great time volunteering and learning in the arena.Thanks to momma for her assistance and guidance in the arena. The pool party was yee-hawwww great. Tequila shots made my clothes fall off!....LOL The Awards Ceremony was great and expressing recognition to those deserving people that worked very hard in front of their peers. The food (especially the chicken fajitas) at the Awards Ceremony was delicious!!!
Thanks to all for the great Texas Hospitality and Friendship in Seguin TX.

The events are just great. BUT the music was too loud could not hear the names and scores of the contestants. the announcer sounded like he wanted to eat the microphone. my partner and i saw quite of few kids at the rodeo; we beleive that they also should have part in the rodeo. two events that they can play are sheep riding and small calf ribbon catching. food and drinks were good and inexpensive. we can’t wait till next year’s rodeo. the rodeo had the u.s., canadian, texas, and a gay rodeo flags, but what happen to the gay flag. we usually try to go to little towns that surround san antonio to thier rodeos and festivals and we have seen different events that maybe tgra can use in the future. any questions email us online www.davidnaugie13@peoplepc.com

Unless you are participating in the rodeo, you’re probably not going to want to stay in Seguin. It’s a 37 mile drive from there to downtown San Antonio where all of the nightlife is located.

Does anyone know where those of us attending can find out about the social events? Where should we stay? If there are no events in SA why bother staying out there? It would be easier to figure out where to book our hotel if we knew where the evening social events would be taking place. Looking forward to the event!
