To cut or not to cut
I was circumcised at birth, is there a difference in sensation or feeling in the foreskin. I guess the best person to answer this question is someone who was circumcised later in life. Also, what do most guys prefer for a partner, cut or uncut guys? |
||
To cut or not to cut
This is just my personal preferance but I prefer cut guys. Some guys I have dated you could hardly tell they were not cut, but some had this really long foreskin covering the entire head, sometimes it had a foul oder. Sorry but it is true. |

To cut or not to cut
I have friends that are both cut and uncut. While I have no preference, I am a bit facinated by someone that is uncut. As for odor, as long as the gent has good hygene it's just like a guy that's cut. |

To cut or not to cut
Most guys do not know haw to take care of themselves if they are uncut. That is what caused to oder.
As fo rme I preer a guy that is cut, it is healthyer as well as being safer. |

To cut or not to cut
I don't mean to offend uncut guys, but most uncut dicks have a horrible, rancid smell to them. And no, it is not just a matter of hygiene. I dated a guy once who smelled so bad I just couldn't bring myself to suck his dick but I never said anything.1 day I told him I thought it would be hot if we showered together and washed each other. Of course my real motive was to wash his dick (all 9 inches) well enough to get rid of the odor. He showed me exactly how you wash an uncut dick and I could tell he was careful to clean it thoroughly. I wash inside the skin and pealed it back as I did so. We immediately dried off and went straight to the bed. To my surprise, it had that same foul odor that it always had. Someone later explained to me that it's not a matter of cleanliness, but that there are glands under the foreskin that produce that smell and that all the washing in the world will not remove it. I stopped seeing him shortly after that. He loved to be sucked and I wouldn't go near it. I'm all for being as natural as possible but I think the Jews were onto something there! Not to mention you have an 80% higher chance of contracting HIV and other STD's when you're uncut. It's only a bunch of wrinkled skin.....I don't see why so many guys are opposed to getting cut. My buddy who got cut when he was 40 says he wishes he had done it much sooner and the lose of sensation thing is bullshit. |

Hi Scruffy,
Thanks for the input. You gave a lot of information that I have not heard before. I was dating a guy who was not cut and I know he was very clean. He was always conscious about taking a shower before we had sex. He often asked me to tell him if he ever had an odor problem from being uncircumcised. I loved him very much and never said anything because I didn't want to hurt or embarrass him, but the smell was always there. I hinted around about getting circumcised but he was not interested.

To cut or not to cut
Let me toss a positive note out for uncut guys. I am cut myself and I admit that I prefer a cut man to1 that isn't. It would not be a relationship make or break though. I dated a guy for 2 years who was uncut. There was never any odor or unpleasant anything ever. I learned to enjoy the uniqueness of it and would not hestitate to be with an uncut again. Probably like everything else each human being is different. Some may have odor and some may not. I would never ask an uncut guy to have the surgery. |

Rex is absolutely right. I've had 2 relationships with uncut men, the 1st a Swede and the 2nd a Russian, both men were very clean. There is no real difference other than there is more to play with! Incidentally, the Swede went on and got married & paid for it with his foreskin. The little lady demanded its removal after the 'hook was set' (married). That poor Joe with the odor problem even after bathing likely had an infection. Nearly all European men are uncut and Europe still stands. And for all those who love the old west, do any of you think that men like Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, Jim Bridger, Butch Cassidy, Bill Cody, etc., etc., were cut? Sorry, it is highly likely none of them were, nor were any of the other countless, nameless men who pioneered & settled the west. In those days it just wasn't done. From their point of view, no need. Besides, too damned expensive! So just remember, the west was built by sweaty men who bathed when they could, didn't use deordorant, never saw the inside of a hospital, and rarely, if ever, wore cologne. |

Sorry to burst your bubble but circumcision has been with us since the Egyptians. The "Old West" period only lasted 35 years and wasn't that long ago. |

Sorry, to pop yours, pard, but as far back as you want to go, 1860, 1812, 1776, 1620 and then across the pond to Europe, then Rome, Greece, Babylon and finally China...all were uncut. True the Egyptian priests and Pharoah (a priest/king) were circumcised. But if you want a tally throughout time, the tallywhackers with the hoods would most certainly win. |

To cut or not to cut
Well guys, here's my take on the cut/uncut dialogue. Natural is better, but in any case, it should be the individual man's choice, not a decision someone else made for him. It's your body, and you should be in charge of it. |

To cut or not to cut
diesn't matter if it is cut or uncut, what matters is who it is attached to |

I agree with texcountry and rex. I'm cut, too, but I've met several uncut guys and not a single1 of them has had any kind of foul odor whatsoever. Like texcountry, I also have a bit of fascination with uncut guys, but just because someone is uncut doesn't mean that their dick smells. If they practice good hygiene, chances are very good that there is no odor. |

To cut or not to cut
Just thought I would pass along some educational info on the subject matter since I am uncut. When I was younger I was extremely sensitive to the point of touching the glans was painful. I would even immediately ejaculate upon penetration. It took several years of masturbation holding the foreskin back to desensitize, this also helped in thickening the underside skin. As for odor, I find that those who urinate without pulling the foreskin back to have this foul odor. The glands on the glans are there to keep it lubricated so the foreskin doesn't stick/adhere, cut men lose this because there is no longer a need. The underside of the foreskin is also thin so susceptible to tears which can be a portal of entry for STD's. I personally prefer uncut but wouldn't throw either out of bed... |

To cut or not to cut
well untill i read all the post on forskin i never really thought about it.ive been with both and ive had guys who were cut to also have and oder and i know they were clean.i think alot of the time its just body chemistry that causes alot of the oder.just like some guys have very strong sweat glands in their pits and carry a strong oder even though you know they are clean. it just happens to some guys. but im sorry if i love that man it doesnt matter. its just a part of him i learned to overlook. and besides if thats the only thing i can find wrong then its worth it. sorry guys but thats my take on it. |
