I'm a middle age professional, at the top of my career. I live in the country on over 200 acres, and work in a small city. My passion is being outdoors. A hired hand helps me, around the place. Sometimes, I'll even have 30 or 40 head of cattle. It is a truly perfect life, except one thing--it's damn lonely. I suspect I won't be getting any calls from twenty-somethings. It seems that most gay men are looking for someone younger than themselves. While that would be great, it's not my experience that this is likely to happen. I'm looking for someone of any age that I can share my life with. I've worked much of my life, to create what many would consider a dream. I learned too late that paradise is worthless, if you are there by yourself. I believe myself to be a morally upright man, conservative in many matters and liberal in others. I cherish family and friends. I often pray, while driving alone. However, my faith is sometimes weak. I NEVER push it on others, either. Ultimately, none of us has any greater insight into these matters than others. I am particularly attracted to men who have inner strength, who take charge and are often firm in their stance; but not too macho to admit when they are wrong, to show love (even if only in private), and to whom kindness comes naturally. I don't want some scholar, although I would count as one. I want something as honest and plain as the earth beneath my feet. From all outward appearances, it seems quite simple. But begin to dig a little and you discover many, many interesting things. That said, if any of you are interested, write back.I am attracted to the gentle power and strength of those who work with their hands, and make wonderful things happen with the sweat of their brow. I like to follow such a person, learning from them and helping when I can. That's not to say I want to be a servant. But that cock-suredness (male chicken, not penis; oh well, maybe both) is damn attractive.
