Have been a misplaced countryboy for over the past twenty years with the Navy, been around the world and certainly no regrets. Worked as a traveling contract surgical assistant on the east coast and decided to finally put down roots. Need to find some new friends to go along with my new hometown. Grew up on a small farm in a small Illinois hick town. We raised feeder steers and I raised the unusual combination of registered sheep and wethers that I showed at county fairs as well as my quarterhorse. Had to be different than the steer jockeys! Broke and trained the wonderful horses I had those many years ago myself and proud in the fact they were well rounded in both the showring or most importantly out trailriding.
