I co-own and help run the family ranches and cow/calf operation. I grew up in a livestock enthusiest family, was very involved in 4-H and FFA, showed cattle and continued on to judge livestock in college. Though I like putting back into what got me to where I am in life today, at times I am much more valuable and in demand off the ranch than I am on it. So, I am heavily involved in the show cattle industry, from Mkt. Steers to Jr. Heifers, to the open show cattle road. I help several 4-H and FFA kids and their families with mkt. steer and jr. heifer projects. Enjoy working with kids and being able to see how the cattle we are putting on the ground at the ranch are preforming in a different aspect of the cattle industry. I am not a drug store cowboy, don't need boots,jeans a hat and big shiny buckle to stroke my ego. I think it is what is inside of a person that makes then who they are, not what they wear. Though my daily apperal generally consists of boots and jeans you can rest assured no matter what I am wearing, I can rope, ride, tie down, casturate, brand, dehorn, tattoo, tag, vaccinate, A.I., halter break, clip and fit with the best of them. Like honest people, who shoot straight from the hip and people who like being themselves. I have never forgotten where I came from. Would just like to meet some honest guys, to maybe tip a few beers back.
