It isnt the hat, boots, or belt buckle that make a cowboy. Its the code. And its a code I believe
in. In that sense, I 'm a cowboy. I own 21 horses and a 30 acre place on a small lake in central Iowa. I 'm looking for a guy to it with (I prefer fit/muscular guys, in their 20 's to 50 's, who like to be active, have a good heart, and don 't think sex is the main ingredient in a relationship. I love spending time in the outdoors, trail riding, going to rodeos, sharing time with friends, and even spending a few days in a big city. I 'm far from an expert horseman, but I 've learned a lot about horses and their care through experience. I plan to make it to midwest rodeos this summer. Maybe I 'll see ya at one! I'm a semi-retired farmer/rancher type. I have a variety of interests but my most passionate is centered around mechanics including my farm truck, Farmal 966 tractor, Volvo 850 Wagon, and my C5 Corvette convertible. I used to ride a motorcycle but decided to sell it in favor of the Corvette. I love working on engines and restoring vehicles. I grew up doing this and still enjoy it.
Other interest include: reading books and blogging (frustrated, non-published author here), wood-working, finish carpentry, and firearms/marksmanship.
I still like my Levis jeans and Tony Lama boots today as much as I did when I got my first pair in the third grade and I just don't look like myself without a good ball cap or a cowboy hat.
