Looking for a serious relationship and a farmer!
Time for an update. In late November I was diagnosed with bile duct cancer, stage one. At the current time I am undergoing chemo treatments every two weeks. At the end of every cycle of 4 I go to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for MRI's, CT scans and other tests. Hoping to do surgery after the 8th round in a procedure called Whipple Resection. to remove any further traces of the cancer.
Just because I have cancer doesn't mean I'm already DOA as some guys assume and stop talking with me because of it. I'm still alive and very vibrant and fun in life. Don't let the idea of my illness scare you away. As I told someone, I'm simply too ornery to die and have too many things I life I want to accomplish yet and do them with someone special.
Lost my partner to small cell lung cancer 3.5 years ago, and I cared for him to the very end, so I am well aware of what chemo, radiation and cancer can do to a person. In the end it's made me stronger than ever to face the little monster inside me head on. Jeff told me in a dream one night that I will be alright and believe that and hang on to that belief as well.
So don't be afraid to talk to me an get to know me. Don't be afraid to ask questions. As I told on person, there are no promises in life and that someday we all will die. However long a relationship last it is what it is. Let's give this a shot and who knows.
