For no reason at all, enjoy muscle cars from working on them to driving them, and enjoy cooking for two or more. Yes, I may have grown up in the city, but my heart has always been — and will always be in the country.

Well, let me start by saying I am a born and raised Albertan. I am just your average ginger guy. I
am career-driven and more of a suburban-rural type of guy. I tend to like the simpler things in life and like to take things as they come. I have no great expectations on dating sites but in small hopes of meeting similar-minded dudes with the same interests and drive as me.

The ideal place for me to retire would be Fort Davis, TX on the Davis Mountains; a few acres, single/double wide mobile home, sheds turned into an office and/or tack room, a barn, solar power with battery back up and a rain catchment system. A garden and a few fruit/nut trees and a few chickens. Living as self sufficiently as possible, having outside work to do to stay healthy and in shape and being outdoors. After living in California for over 40 years I felt is was time to move in a different direction. I
sold my ranch in Southern California and moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico. I had many great experiences in California and many that I will never forget.
I'm in Santa Fe County on a comfortable 5 acre ranch with 9 horses. These are Quarters and TB's that we train for racing. My passion for horses, horseback riding and a more simple life in the country dates back to when I was a kid. I will admit, in my late teens and early twenties I ventured out to try out city life. I did okay, made some good money and met some terrific people but country life drew me back in when I was in my 40's and so here I am.
